Standard Pool Winterization (What’s included)

  • Equipment Winterization: We’ll carefully winterize all pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and plumbing lines to prevent freeze damage.

  • Skimmer and Main Drain: Our team will plug your skimmer and main drain to prevent water from entering those areas, reducing the risk of freezing. Our team will also add antifreeze to every skimmer line for increased freeze protection.

  • Winter Water Care Kit: Winter Grade Algaecide, a Sequestering Agent and non chlorine shock.

  • Cover Installation: We’ll securely install your pool cover, ensuring it’s properly fitted to keep out debris and protect your pool as best as possible depending on what cover you use to cover your pool.

  • Final Inspection: Before we finish, our team will conduct a thorough inspection to ensure every aspect of your winterization is completed correctly.

What’s not included

  • Water level adjustment: Homeowners are responsible for lowering the water level if they so desire.

  • Chemical balancing: Is not included in our standard closing price. The cost of pool chemicals required for water balancing will incur extra charges and be based on a on site water test.

  • Pool Cleaning: Thorough cleaning of the pool surface, tile, and water features is not part of the standard service.

  • Vacuum Service: Vacuum services are not included in our standard closing price but we are happy to do so if we have 100% water clarity. Vacuum services start at $95.00 per hour.

  • Pool Repairs: Any necessary repairs to the pool structure, liners, or equipment before winterization are not included.

  • Custom Requests: Any additional tasks or special requirements such as but not limited to slides, water features, waterfalls not specified in the standard service will incur extra charges.

Important Notice Regarding Pool Closing

Please be advised that it is essential to have a winter cover, winter plugs and usable water bags available on-site for your pool closing. If these items are not present, our technicians will source the necessary supplies from our warehouse/service trucks to ensure your pool is properly closed for the winter season.

Please note that any materials used will be billed to you at additional rates. It is important to have these items prepared to avoid additional charges and to facilitate a smooth and efficient closing process.
